Paid 1st instalment of AGR dues, next payment in FY22: Airtel tells DoT

Bharti Airtel has written to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), underlining its position that it has already paid the first instalment — over Rs 18,000 crore — of its roughly Rs 44,000 crore adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues and the next tranche is due only in 2021-22, two people familiar with the matter said.
