Total investment by power PSUs to rise nearly 15% to Rs 60,805 crore in FY24

​According to the Union Budget presented in the Parliament on Wednesday, India's hydro power giant NHPC Limited witnessed the highest increase in investment to Rs 10,857 crore in 2023-24, from a revised estimate of Rs 7, 128 crore for 2022-23. For this fiscal, it was budgeted at Rs 7,361 crore.
