Banks to begin reporting on new data warehouse CIMS: RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the launch of its next-generation data warehouse, called the Centralised Information Management System (CIMS). The system will first be used by commercial banks, followed by urban cooperative banks and non-banking financial companies. The CIMS will provide more data for public use and support online statistical analysis. It will also allow regulated entities access to their past data and quality assessment. The launch of the CIMS coincides with the compilation and processing of the first weekly statistical supplement on the RBI's operations and developments in banking and financial markets.
