Centre directs Maharashtra govt to take necessary action in alleged death of EY employee due to work related stress

The Ministry of Labour and Employment is investigating the death of Anna Sebastian Perayil, a 26-year-old Ernst & Young employee, due to work-related stress. Following a complaint by her mother, the central labour ministry has directed the regional labour commissioner’s office to review the matter and seek an explanation from the company regarding its work culture.
