Tata Steel becomes India's first to develop hydrogen transport pipes

Tata Steel has become India's first steel company to develop hydrogen transportation pipes, processed at their Khopoli plant using steel from Kalinganagar. The new pipes have passed important hydrogen transportation tests and will play a significant role in India's National Hydrogen Mission, aiming to produce 5 million metric tonnes of Green Hydrogen annually by 2030.
