Railway projects worth Rs 77,000 crore being implemented in Northeast: Ashwini Vaishnaw

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced railway projects worth Rs 77,000 crore for the Northeast. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Mizoram's first railway line, connecting Aizawl to Delhi with the Rajdhani Express. This connectivity will boost tourism and create jobs. The Bairabi-Sairang railway line includes 45 tunnels and 55 bridges. Refrigerated coaches will help local produce reach new markets.
