Vedanta signs pact with Tamil Nadu discom for supply of power

Vedanta Limited has signed an agreement with Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited. The pact is for supplying 500 MW of electricity. This supply will commence from February 1, 2026. The contract is for a duration of five years. The tariff for this power supply is set at Rs 5.38 per kWh.
