Electronics demand, global supply shifts, policy support driving India's semiconductor play: BCG top exec

India is well placed to build a deeper semiconductor ecosystem as domestic electronics demand rises, government incentives expand and global supply chains diversify, BCG’s Ankush Wadhera said. He expects AI to keep driving demand for GPUs, memory and compute, arguing that current AI-safety debates are “speed-breakers” rather than barriers to semiconductor growth.
