HDFC Bank submits two names to RBI for CEO post, strengthens board-level leadership

HDFC Bank has submitted two preferred candidates for its next MD and CEO to the Reserve Bank of India. The bank's board approved these candidates and their remuneration for a three-year term. V Srinivasa Rangan will be reappointed as an executive director for one year. Jimmy Tata, currently chief credit officer, is also appointed as an executive director.
